The event
Marquee hire was sought for a temporary visitor centre and café for The Savill Garden in Windsor Great Park, a popular day out through all seasons.
The brief
Our regular client, The Crown Estate, was seeking marquee hire in Windsor because they needed to carry out a refurbishment and extension of The Savill Garden visitor centre due to the increasing popularity of these beautiful ornamental gardens in the royal heart of Berkshire. The works were planned for December – April, so they required a marquee suitable for all weathers to house the visitor centre, café and gift shop.
The solution
Time Marquees provided a series of linked structures that were an ideal fit for the space available at the front of the visitor centre. To retain the marquee’s heat during the winter months, we installed solid wall panels to the back and sides with panoramic double-glazed windows along the front to make the most of the pretty view. Heating was installed using an indirect gas fired heating system, accompanied by elegant lighting and luxury loos to provide a complete solution.
