The event
A summer garden party held on the rear lawn of a private residence in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire.
The brief
The client was organising a joint birthday celebration and was keen to ensure the marquee didn’t resemble a traditional wedding marquee. They were open to ideas on how to create a more relaxed and festive party environment.
The solution
To capture the fun and informal vibe the client wanted, we used brightly coloured hanging lanterns to add a vibrant splash of colour to the interior. Long trestle tables were arranged in rows to encourage a laid-back, communal feel. To create a more defined and welcoming entryway, we installed two entrance pagodas, ideal for hosting the drinks reception.
