Launch of a new housing development and regeneration of the Southall area.
The brief
The client wanted a corporate marquee structure for the ground-breaking ceremony for a major new housing development on a brownfield site in Southall, London. This was part a major regeneration scheme for the area and was due to be launched by the CEO of Berkeley Group and the Mayor of London. The launch was in November, so the structure needed to be a warm comfortable environment whatever the weather.
The solution
We provided a 12 x 24m marquee with solid wall panels and a raised cassette floor to ensure the structure solid and well insulated. As the launch was a daytime event, we added a clear gable triangle to maximise the autumn daylight.
