Number of guests

How many guests you expect also makes a huge difference to the cost of a marquee. Marquees can accommodate 75-200 seated wedding guests at the following prices:

75 seated guests @ £2877.60
100 seated guests @ £3436.08
150 seated guests @ £44586.11
200 seated guests @ £6660.41

Typically, your package will include a traditional marquee (clearspan marquee) with ivory linings, round tables and beechwood chairs to seat the bridal party and guests for the wedding breakfast, elegant chandelier lighting and a dancefloor.

Seasonal factors

Marquee heating is an and can be automatically controlled by a thermostat. A 59 Kva indirect warm air heater with thermostat control is £282 inc VAT. We can also quote for outdoor heaters and fire pits.

Fairy lights never lose their charm and look stunning across rooves and walls, with or without linings. We can place water resistant lighting at entry and exit points, as well as along pathways to car parking areas and loos.

Basic lighting is provided as part of our wedding and party marquee hire packages but more bespoke lighting could cost extra. For example, we can add a starlight roof over your wedding dance floor from £246, to make the first dance even more romantic.

Extra furniture

Everyone needs somewhere to put their drink down and even the most enthusiastic dancers need to take a break. We can add additional furniture to your wedding or party package – just let us know what you require and we’ll do our best to source it for you.

For example, we can supply three poseur tables (suitable for a party guestlist of 50-60 people) for an extra £49.50. Need a comfortable spot for the wallflowers to chill out? Add a few two-seater sofas with coffee tables for £160.00 per set. Many other options are available.

Linings

Love a lavish lining? You can go all-out with luxurious black or ivory linings inside your marquee. Lining cost varies on the size of the marquee, but for example a 6mx9m (50-60 ppl party tent ) would be £228.

If you’re keeping track of the pennies, you can opt for an unlined clear span marquee and decorate it yourself. Go wild with décor to match your party theme or incorporate seasonal foliage and flowers for a naturally understated feel.

Some of our marquee styles have clear sides or sides that can be opened. Depending on your location, the outside views could be all the décor you need.

Drinking, dancing and entertainment

You can hire a 1.5m service bar with down lighting from Time Marquees for £145 for a party of 100 guests. Other options are available, to accommodate everything from a DIY bar brimming with all your favourite cans and bottles, to a sophisticated cocktail bar.
